Personal Security and Terrorism Considering the option: Even though terrorism is a world-wide criminal issue, some researchers believe that there is one aspect that is common to most acts of terrorism: the United States is the victim of choice. Thus, it is probably safe to suggest that American, both domestic as well as international, is fair game for a terrorist. US citizens call terrorist targets at home or abroad. Despite increasing spending for security technology, terrorist incidents will continue to increase. As security rings tighten around corporate offices, airline terminals, nuclear power plants, military installations and government facilities, terrorists are likely to become folders. In the process, their attacks are likely to be less selective. Therefore, the issue of personal safety, especially when traveling abroad, becomes an important issue of travel. This means whenever they adapt, improve and overcome obstacles.

Planning a defensive posture in response to terrorism leads to an inability to predict when and where terrorists will attack. A security conscious person will need to evaluate their personal risks. Such performance depends on one's lifestyle, business activities, and other related interpersonal organizations. In addition, other issues such as mode of travel, route of travel, level of performance, location, residence etc. are additional considerations. A preventive action plan involves a focus on the environment. This requires constant high level of vigilance. An incident should be detected in advance. Therefore, an individual early warning system should be implemented. It is primarily a mental process, or a strategic mindset. One should concentrate and use his or her sensory abilities for maximum benefit. Attempting to evaluate potential risks can be time consuming. Such efforts depend on how safe a person wants to be. In addition, a person must decide in advance what kind of reaction to have when a collision occurs. Each of us should always evaluate the option, looking at the situation, and then acting accordingly. Ensures to do whatever is necessary to ensure personal safety. Criminals are capable of being extremely dangerous. They are capable of committing assault, rape, extortion, kidnapping, murder, as well as other crimes. Make no mistake, terrorism, international organized crime, and state-sponsored criminal enterprises threaten the national security and security of the United States.
